Head of Sustainable Development Investment Partnership (SDIP) and Blended Finance, World Economic Forum
In his position at the World Economic Forum, Philip Moss leverages over 15 years experience working at the cutting edge of innovative and sustainable financial products, including carbon/cleantech investment and initiatives to promote sustainable finance. He previously served as founder and managing partner for Mana Ventures, an Abu Dhabi-based investment and advisory firm facilitating the transfer of clean energy technologies to emerging and frontier markets. Here he put his experience as Masdar's Carbon Portfolio Manager and an advisor to Masdar Capital to good use. He also previously held positions at CantorCO2e, the UN Environment Programme Finance Initiative and HSBC Household. In addition, Mr Moss serves on a number of non-profit boards and organisations including the Zayed Future Energy Prize and the Green Schools Alliance. He holds Bachelor of Science degrees in both economics and applied statistics from North Carolina State University and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
