Skills and TVET for African Youth

Achieving the African Union’s Agenda 2063 and the global Vision 2030, calls for people centred strategies that put education, skills development and economic empowerment as key levers to drive development efforts.
This session provides a platform to exchange insights and practical solutions for women and youth development and economic empowerment, such as strengthening of Technical Vocational and Education Training systems; building skills to harness business opportunities along agribusiness value chains; and economic empowerment of grassroots women.
NEPAD Agency will host this session with the support of Spanish Agency for International Development and Cooperation, bringing together representatives of AU and EU Member States, development partners, private sector and civil society.
